Mark Karnes lives with his wife in north Baltimore. He received his BFA from Philadelphia College of Art and his MFA from Yale University. He has been the recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, Maryland State Arts Council and a Fulbright Fellowship to Italy. He has participated in one man shows and group exhibitions in this country and abroad.
