Office of Student Affairs

Student Outreach and Support (SOS)

The Office of Student Outreach and Support (SOS), previously known as the Office Student Development, works directly with students experiencing situations that are impacting their academics and/or health and wellbeing during their time at 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网.

SOS provides non-clinical case management by meeting one-on-one with students and collaborating with campus partners to support students based on their individual needs and concerns.

Early intervention and support often provide students with more options than waiting for a situation to resolve on its own or until a crisis situation develops. While our office can provide retroactive advocacy for students to their faculty regarding extenuating circumstances with documentation, students must connect with SOS within a month of the event/concern occurring.

Even if students are not sure if the SOS can help, or if they do not have documentation to support a request for formal advocacy from our office, students are still welcome to meet with our office for guidance, support and referrals to internal and external resources.
