Admission Criteria and Who May Apply

澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网's PreCollege Art and Design Program is an extremely popular program, attracting both students who have been taking art courses for a long time and those who are relatively new to the study of art. Consequently, the admission process is designed to assure a good fit between the applicant and the program. Current high school students who will be between the ages of 15 - 17 at the time of the program may apply to 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网's PreCollege Art and Design Program. International students with a demonstrated proficiency in the English language are welcome to apply.

International Student: English Language Proficiency

All applicants whose primary language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English.

TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, Duolingo:  If English is not your first language you must submit a valid TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, or Duolingo score with your application. 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网 requires a minimum TOEFL score of 75 (MyBest scores are accepted), an IELTS score of 6.0, a PTE score of 58, or a Duolingo score of 105.

澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网 does not require TOEFL, IELTS, PTE or Duolingo scores if you have a minimum SAT score of 470 or ACT score of 18 in the English section, or official transcripts that demonstrate at least two full years of academic success at a high school or college/university in which English is the language of instruction.

Early Application Recommended
Due to the limited space in 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网's PreCollege Art and Design Program, placement is competitive, and most spaces in the program fill prior to the final deadline. Early application is strongly recommended, especially for those requesting financial assistance. Course placement is assigned based on a student's indicated preference, space availability as well as the strength of the student's portfolio. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Application Materials Required

Applicants must submit a complete application, including a portfolio of 4 pieces online through Slideroom. Please follow the Apply Now button to set up an account. You will be prompted through the application process. The online application option includes all required forms, attachments, and a non-refundable $25 application fee. Additionally, if accepted a $250 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot in the program. The deposit goes towards the program tuition cost.

Preparing Your Portfolio for Slideroom

All pieces in your portfolio of artwork will be uploaded with your application and must include  name, media, dimensions, and month/year completed. Each student must submit original works that have been created by the student that do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any other individual or entity. If a student's work incorporates material, including but not limited to photographs, not created by the student, the student must include an additional copy of any and all such source material in their application as an additional attachment.
