Betsey died of cancer June 15, 2020. One year later, family and friends came together to celebrate her life. Donations in Betsey's memory will fund a scholarship at 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网. Her husband, Stan Heuisler reflects: "In 1969, while she was still a graduate student at 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网, Betsey Heuisler’s serigraph “Soaring Red” was selected to hang in the Baltimore Museum of Art’s prestigious Biennale. Later she taught painting and drawing at 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网, and created and taught the school’s summer program in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Her son and daughter-in-law both graduated from 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网 and her daughter-in-law works in the school’s admissions department. The school was a lodestone for Betsey in selling paintings coast to coast and teaching art to students from high school to graduate medical schools."
