Website Refresh FAQ

With the recent introduction of new academic programs, like Design and Innovation and Creative Media Production, combined with the College’s efforts to reach and attract broader student populations, the Office of Strategic Communications has been working with our web development firm FastSpot to refresh the existing website to bring a more modern, streamlined experience for visitors.

We will begin the transition starting Monday, June 23, with a completion goal of Monday, July 7.

The transition necessitates a temporary content freeze during that week (Monday, June 23 - Friday, June 27). During this time, no content edits should be made to the existing site.

While not a full redesign, some of the key goals of the refresh are:

  • A cleaner, simpler, enrollment-focused navigation. Provide a simplified, low-friction experience for visitors to find and engage with relevant 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网 content. Specifically designed for prospective students and prioritizing enrollment/application information

  • A more robust sitewide search. Offer more relevant and curated search results to ensure the most important content for the visitor is being delivered.

  • A better Academic Program discovery feature. Provide an enhanced interface for prospective students to better find and understand all of 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网’s academic offerings and associated career pathways.

Each administrative and academic department / area should already have a web content curator identified. If you do not, or are unsure, contact Erin Baynham within Strategic Communications (ebaynham@mica.edu).

If there are critical updates that must happen during the week of the content freeze, please contact Erin Baynham at (ebaynham@mica.edu). If they aren't critical, please try to schedule them either before the content freeze week or after.

Please reach out to Erin Baynham @ ebaynham@mica.edu to give us a website inventory.
