Made possible through funding from the Philip E. and Carole R. In the weeks leading up tonight’s finale, the eight finalists worked closely with individual mentors from the Baltimore business community to hone their presentations and business pitches.

A panel of judges composed of local business and community leaders selected the five winning teams. This year’s judges included John Cammack, managing partner, Cammack Associates LLC; Carole R. Ratcliffe, Philip E. and Carole R. Ratcliffe Foundation; Hakim Dyer, partner, Dyer Bermingham; Michele Speaks, vice president of advancement, Family League of Baltimore City, Inc.; Tim Train, CEO and co-founder, Big Huge Games; and David Wise, venture advisor, The Abell Foundation.

Additionally, Hoi announced a new partnership between the College and Baltimore Arts Realty Corporation (BARCO) to establish a six-month entrepreneur-in-residence program at Open Works, a community-oriented maker space. The residency will be available to five 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网 students, and includes dedicated studio space and access to Open Works’ fabrication facilities, including a metal shop, wood shop, 3D printing studio and electronics lab.
