A proud graduate of 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网's MFA Illustration Practice program, Lisa Perrin spent five years as an in-house illustrator at American Greetings card company before turning to academia. Her illustrations are often rich with exquisite detail exploring themes of nature, history, and femininity.
Her work has been recognized by The Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, and Print Magazine, and her clients include Macy’s, Anthropologie, Penguin Random House, Harper Collins, Buzzfeed.com, and The Saturday Evening Post.
We recently asked Lisa to describe her experiences as a faculty member in 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网's Illustration Department.
Tell us about your students. What inspires you about them?
“Often I am awed by my student's passion, tenacity, and drive. Seeing what they are working on inspires me when I return to my personal professional illustration practice. I am also impressed by my student's kindness, empathy, and enthusiasm for each other's work.”

What do you love about teaching at an art school?
“Art school can be a rigorous and challenging experience, but together we foster an environment of encouragement and support. Teaching the next generation of illustrators, designers, letterers, and artists is a privilege, and I am so excited to see what they will create!”
