Visa 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网

As a new incoming student from abroad you will need to return all international student paperwork for your visa. You are required to submit your Immigration 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网 form to indicate your current immigration status and intentions regarding immigration while studying at 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网.  Click here to learn about the F-1 visa process.

All forms and supporting materials should be uploaded to your student portal or emailed to records@mica.edu by December 1, 2024 for the 2025 Spring semester.

The Immigration 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网 form (download PDF) is required before an I-20 can be issued and it must be completed even if you do not plan to study under an F-1 visa.

If you already hold a valid F-1 Visa from another school and plan to transfer it to 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网 you must also complete and submit the I-20 Transfer Release form  (download PDF) along with a PDF photocopy of your current I-20 form.

In addition to the Immigration form, please submit the required financial statement documents:

  • a PDF photocopy of your passport

According to U.S. Immigration law, we must receive these documents before we can issue your I-20.

Students admitted for the Spring semester are allowed to defer to the following Fall or following Spring term. Students cannot defer their admission beyond one year past the term they were originally admitted for. At that point, they must submit a new application to be considered for admission to the College. If you would like to defer your admission to a future term, you will need to fill out the Admission Deferral Request form. This will serve as your official request to defer.

Planning to earn transfer credits?

During your deferral, if you are planning on taking college classes at another institution and want to enter 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网 as a transfer student, you will need to reapply as a transfer for your new term. You can learn more about the transfer admission process here.

For information about scholarships and financial aid for your new term, please reach out to our Financial Aid Office at 410.225.2285 or finaid@mica.edu.
