Think of all the things that we use everyday (phones, glasses, coffee makers, furniture), that we used to use (kids toys), that we will use in the future (assistive devices in old-age), that are used on us (surgical equipment), that we consider using (all the commercials for products we see but don't buy), or that we may never use but make us imaging new possibilities (conceptual products in a gallery). All of those things were designed by a Product Designer to bring new functions and meaning to our lives.
In the 澳门金沙投注_任你博-官网 Product Design Co-Major you’ll learn the hard skills of analogue and digital drawing and prototyping, create 3D computer models and realistic renderings, understand the expressive and functional qualities of materials and fabrication, identify and design for user needs and desires, and learn how to communicate your ideas to clients and collaborators.
Product Design is for those who want to change the function and meaning of everyday life.
A Co-Major in Product Design requires Majoring in Design & Innovation.
